Introducing Lewis Adamson
In a few short years, the name Lewis Adamson will need little introduction. This talented twelve year old is already fast becoming a name to be reckoned with in the Karting (NKF) world. (NKF stands for Northern Karting Federation).
Following an impressive debut season Lewis has secured a coveted team drive with JJR Motorsport for the 2009 season, and is set to make some noise in Karting (NKF) circles.
Sponsored by The Audio Group and Give The Dog A Bone, Lewis from Kingsmead in Northwich will race in a national series of NKF (Northern Karting Federation) events. He is also scheduled to race in three club championships this year.
Fast track to success with JJR Motorsport
JJR Motorsport boss John Johnson is proud to have Lewis on board and has high hopes for the JJR Motorsport campaign as it rolls out this season.
He describes Lewis Adamson as a something of a Karting find, with a ‘unique ability… a natural talent for driving and an exceptional feel for the kart,” together with great “maturity for a twelve year old.”
Johnson is not least impressed with ‘the speed at which he is capable of learning far beyond his years.”
Lewis Adamson Karting (NKF) career to date
Lewis took up Karting as a hobby when he was ten and competed in his first race shortly after his eleventh birthday. He signed up for the JJR Motorsport team driver development programme in the summer of 2008 following the leap from Cadet class Minimax. Well and truly bitten by the bug, he hasn’t looked back since.
With sponsorship behind him by local businesses The Audio Group and Give The Dog A Bone, Lewis is on track for a great Karting (NKF) career.
Lewis Adamson himself is the first to admit that ‘it will be challenging and a huge learning curve to race at a higher level.” His hopes are high and he says he’s aiming for, “a few podiums along the way to repay the team’s faith in me.”
Sponsors wanted
This is your opportunity to join the Audio Group and Give The Dog A Bone – companies who recognise raw talent when they see it and are backing Lewis Adamson financially to help him achieve his Karting potential.
The Audio Group and Give The Dog A Bone recognise that Karting at this level is expensive. As Russ Sidebottom, Give The Dog A Bone director points out, “Competing at NKF level is costly but we are delighted to help make great things happen for Lewis. He’s set for an exciting future and I’d encourage any other local businesses to join us and offer support.”
